Mike Weber has approximately ten years of commercial banking experience. Mike is a 1995 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he earned a double major in Business Administration and Economics. Mike received his Masters degree in Business Administration in 2001, with a Finance emphasis, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

From 1996 through 1999 Mike worked as a part-time real estate sales agent for Realty World Estate Shoppe (K/N/A ReMax Preferred) in Waunakee, WI where he built strong relationships and developed a solid basis of knowledge relating to the marketing of residential and commercial real estate.

For approximately three years, from 1994 to 1997, Mike worked in commercial property management for the Richard E. Jacobs Group (RJG) as Assistant Mall Manager of West Towne Mall in Madison, WI. At the time RJG owned approximately 40 regional shopping centers throughout the Midwestern United States. Mike was responsible for assisting in the management of the Mall that encompassed more than 100 retail tenants whose annual aggregate revenues exceeded $250,000,000. Some of Mike’s primary responsibilities included establishing operational and marketing budgets totaling more than $2,000,000, assisting in commercial lease negotiations and administration, overseeing new store construction, preparing monthly financials and managing a team of up to 40 employees.

In 1997, Mike began his commercial banking career at M&I Bank in Madison, WI. He served as Assistant Vice President of Business Banking and managed a loan portfolio that included representation across almost all business segments including: manufacturing, industrial and commercial real estate, retail, technology and professional services. Mike was recognized as a top performer in the Southern Wisconsin Region within the commercial banking segment.

In 2004, Mike joined Associated Bank (AB). Mike served as Vice-President of Commercial Banking in the company’s South Central Regional office in Madison, WI. An active member of the Region’s top leadership team, Mike was a voting member of the Regional Officer’s Loan Committee (OLC) (responsible for underwriting commercial credit relationships of up to $6,000,000), the Regional Loan Review Committee (responsible for analyzing high risk commercial and consumer relationships, non-performing assets, past due loans, OREO assets and upgrading and downgrading existing relationships), the strategic “Peoples Pipeline, Committee” and the bank’s Regional Pricing Committee. Mike served as Commercial Relationship Manager for more than 60 middle market client relationships. Mike maintained and serviced a commercial loan portfolio with outstanding balances in excess of $95 million and total credit commitments in excess of $110 million. Mike’s direct involvement with internal business partners across product lines including treasury management, trust, wealth management, executive banking, mortgage banking, personal banking, leasing, insurance and other ancillary bank services have proven to strengthen his breadth of industry experience. While at AB, Mike was consistently recognized as a top performer across several key performance metrics in the corporation’s commercial banking segment, which included more than 200 commercial bankers.
