Director
Randall E. Vail has 24 years of banking experience. He came to Greenwoods State Bank in 1989 after working in banking in Illinois for six years. While with Greenwoods State Bank, he has been involved in all areas of the bank’s operation and management. His duties have included commercial, retail and residential lending, ALCO management, cash management, investments, general operations, information technology system administration, 401k administration and bond accounting. He holds an insurance license and a Series 6 investment license to sell mutual funds and variable annuities. He has served on Greenwoods State Bank Board of Directors since 1991. Mr. Vail graduated in 1982 from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in finance. In 1989 he completed the Wisconsin Bankers Association commercial lending course in DePere, WI. In 1994 he graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. Active in the community, Mr. Vail has served on the board of Elders of Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson, WI and Real Hope Community Church in Lake Mills. He has been a board member of the Lake Mills Optimist Club and presently serves on the board of the Rock Lake Activity Center in Lake Mills. In addition, he has been the key speaker at a middle school graduation ceremony, given several classroom presentations and has served on several public school advisory committees.
